On October 16, 2012 morning the service for the memory of the outstanding human rights advocate, decedent, General Peter Grigorenko was held in St. Vladimir and Olga Equal-to-the-Apls Cathedral Church in Simferopol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the noon the ceremony of the laying of flowers was held next to the monument to Peter Grigorenko, located at the square that was given his name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony was attended by the First Vice Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Crimea Refat Chubarov, CEO of the Foundation for the development of Crimea Alexei Skorik, members of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and Crimean community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cToday we celebrate the 105th<\/sup> anniversary of birth of our battle General, sworn brother,- Refat Chubarov said. \u2013 We\u2019d like that there were many of us \u2013 it will be, I\u2019m sure. It\u2019ll happen later when our country will be such as the Ukrainian patriots wanted to see it, as we and those who live here today want it to be.
