{"id":31723,"date":"2012-09-20T21:19:00","date_gmt":"2012-09-20T18:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/?p=31723"},"modified":"2022-01-21T21:23:06","modified_gmt":"2022-01-21T18:23:06","slug":"mejlis-leader-mustafa-jemilev-meets-ambassador-of-germany-to-ukraine-christoph-weil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/en\/mejlis-leader-mustafa-jemilev-meets-ambassador-of-germany-to-ukraine-christoph-weil\/","title":{"rendered":"Mejlis&#8217; Leader Mustafa Jemilev Meets Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine Christoph Weil"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 20, 2012 the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev met with the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Germany to Ukraine Christoph Weil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The current situation with the Crimean Tatar people in Crimea, the problems of preserving the national distinctiveness of the peninsula\u2019s indigenous people, the support and development of the national education, as well as the construction of Buyuk Juma Jami (Central Mosque) in Simferopol and the public-political situation in Ukraine in Crimea and other issues were discussed during the meeting between Mejlis\u2019 Leader Mustafa Jemilev and German Ambassador to Ukraine Christoph Weil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine noted with regret that he couldn\u2019t personally attend the 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0annual meeting of leaders of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people with the heads of the diplomatic missions and international organizations, accredited in Ukraine, held on September 18, 2012 in Kyiv. However, at this Mr Weil noted: \u201cI\u2019m sure that the results of the constructive and substantial exchange of the opinions between the participants of the meeting about the necessity to hold the International Forum on restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people will become one more step towards the soonest implementation of the goal set\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting the parties also discussed the prospects of adoption in the second reading of the law of Ukraine \u201cOn the restoration of the rights of persons, deported on the national grounds\u201d, submitted by the Leader of Mejlis, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev. At this Mejlis\u2019 Leader M.Jemilev expressed his opinion that he doesn\u2019t exclude possibility that the law could be finally adopted only after the Parliamentary election by the new composition of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"439\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/3_45.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31742\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/3_45.jpg 650w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/3_45-300x203.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking about the future development of the Crimean Tatar people the Leader of Mejlis Mustafa Jemilev underscored that Crimean Tatars see their future exclusively in the framework of the independent and integral Ukrainian state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his turn, Christoph Weil expressed his hope that the Crimean Tatar people and citizens of Ukraine in the whole could preserve their national distinctiveness and sovereignty of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was also attended by the assistant of the Leader of Mejlis Alexei Skorik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"252\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2_72.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31750\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2_72.jpg 650w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2_72-300x116.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On September 20, 2012 the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev met with the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Germany to Ukraine Christoph Weil.
