However, despite this fact only around 300 people came to the meeting with Peter Simonenko, mainly elderly people and young men, hired as flag-bearers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0246.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31376\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0246.jpg 800w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0246-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0246-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before the beginning of the meeting Crimean Tatars started gathering in the square, indignant at the cynic and humiliating statements of Peter Simonenko, made from the tribune of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on May 16, 2012. As reported, in his speech Peter Simonenko justified the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people, committed on May 18, 1944.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0240.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31380\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0240.jpg 800w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0240-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0240-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crimean Tatars carried the national flags and slogans \u201cNo Revival of Fascism in Ukraine!\u201d, \u201cSimonenko on Trial!\u201d, \u201cSimonenko Get Out of Crimea!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u201cDuring the whole speech of the \u201cmain communist\u201d of Ukraine, lasting around an hour Crimean Tatars were shouting slogans \u201cSimonenko fascist\u201d \u201cShame on you!\u201d, \u201cSimonenko Get out of Crimea!\u201d They also threw rotten eggs towards the scene where Simonenko spoke\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/123n.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31384\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/123n.jpg 800w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/123n-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/123n-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In conclusion of the meeting Peter Simonenko, accompanied by the guard of the special detachment of the law enforcement agency and cries \u201cShame!\u201d was urgently taken away from the square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The First Vice-Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov has commented on the event: \u201cIn any civilized country the politician who made such statement, justifying the act of the genocide against any people would stop being a public figure form the very moment he did it. The tragedy of Ukraine, the tragedy of Crimea is that the moral deformities, justifying the mass crimes against any people \u2013 Ukrainians, Crimean Tatars, Jews \u2013 could use the status of the MP of Ukraine, to travel around the country with the guard and speak before people that have no idea of the scale and those who were guilty in those disasters that the previous generations suffered \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0255.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31388\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0255.jpg 800w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0255-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_0255-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In conclusion of the action, Refat Chubarov thanked all Crimean Tatars who came to the square following the dictates of their heart and demonstrated their aversion of such politicians as Peter Simonenko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At this, Refat Chubarov regretted that there were so small number of representatives of other nationalities among the protesters, but he added \u201cwe are sure that their eyes will open soon and such moral deformities as Peter Simonenko won\u2019t have access to Ukrainian policy once and forever\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On August 22, 2012 the leader of CPU Peter Simonenko held meeting with the electors \u2013 residents of Crimea in the central square in Simferopol.
