On June 26, 2012 the Day of Crimean Tatar national flag was celebrated in the Central square in Aqmescit (Simferopol).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual holiday was celebrated with the support of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and the World Congress of Crimean Tatars. The organizers of the event were Crimean Tatar youth organizations, such as \u201cYashlar Shurasi\u201d, \u201cQardashlik\u201d and \u201cYashlar Sedasi\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 26 in the morning in the framework of the celebration of the Day of Crimean Tatar national flag the all-Crimean auto rally started on five routes: \u00abSimferopol \u2013 Bakhchisaray – Sevastopol\u00bb, \u00abSimferopol \u2013 Saki \u2013 Yevpatoriya\u00bb, \u00abSimferopol \u2013 Oktyabrskoe \u2013Krasnogvardeyskoe – Dzhankoy\u00bb, \u00abSimferopol \u2013 Belogorsk \u2013 Sudak \u2013 Stary Qrim – Feodosia\u00bb and \u00abSimferopol \u2013 Dobroe \u2013 Alushta – Yalta\u00bb. The rally finished in Simferopol. All its participants got united in one single column in Hoshkeldi district and drove to the square in an organized way with the flags waving from their cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 26 in the afternoon the children could compete in drawing in the Central Square in Aqmescit and the young wrestlers showed master classes on national wrestling \u201cKuresh\u201d. Everyone could also enjoy the photo exhibition and national cuisine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main symbol of the holiday became the biggest in the world Crimean Tatar flag that comprised 252 square meters that was installed in the Central Square in Aqmescit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the very beginning of the holiday the guests were entertained by the stars of Crimean Tatar singing, the participants of the competition \u201cTatly Ses\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the concert program the First Vice Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, the President of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars Refat Chubarov was invited to the stage, as well as Mufti of Muslims of Crimea Adzhi Emirali Ablaev and one of the organizers of the holiday Aider Adzhimambetov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday in this square we celebrate the great holiday\u2013 the Day of Crimean Tatar national flag \u2013 mufti of Muslims of Crimea haji Emirali Ablaev started. It was our grandfathers and great grandfathers dream. They fought and approached this day at the price of their lives. Our flag returned to our native land. Every generation of the Crimean Tatar people must remember those terrific days, experienced by our people. Unfortunately, lesser and lesser people remain who started this combat and stood for our people\u2019s rights. Our common duty is to preserve the memory for them\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mufti of Muslims of Crimea haji Emirali Ablaev also noted that the elder generation is proud of the patriotic training and national spirit of Crimean Tatar youth and wished them not to stand on the knees before no one except Good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the word was given to the Fist Vice Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, the President of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars Refat Chubarov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u201cFor many years our people could not even dream of the celebration of such great day,- R.Chubarov said in his speech. I am sure that today the Crimean Tatar flags, raised over this square will wave over the governmental buildings. They will be installed there if we won\u2019t drop them from our hands. I am sure that Crimean Tatar language will be developed if we will speak and teach it others! I know that we will be the masters in our native land if we will love and respect each other\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refat Chubarov also noted the high level of the organization of the holiday and large number of youth and kids coming to the square. He also expressed his gratitude for the participation of the children from Rumania and Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCrimean Tatar flag gathered together all our nationals in this square,\u201d- the First Vice Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, the President of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars underscored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and the World Congress of Crimean Tatars Refat Chubarov congratulated everyone with the Day of Crimean Tatar national flag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the congratulations there was the ceremony of the award of the winners of the competitions, held in the frameworks of the celebration of the Day of Crimean Tatar national flag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concert program with the participation of the honored artists of Ukraine and AR Crimea, the representatives of Crimean Tatar song, national ensembles and creative unions decorated the holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
