On March 21, 2012, the ceremony of laying of flowers to I.Gasprinsky\u2019s monument in Simferopol was held, in the framework of the ceremonial events, dedicated to the 161st<\/sup> anniversary of birth of the great Crimean Tatar educator, writer and founder of the first Turkic speaking newspaper \u201cTerjiman\u201d (Translator) Ismail Gasprinsky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was attended by the veterans of the Crimean Tatar national movement, members of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, representatives of Crimean Tatar public organizations, students and lecturers of the Crimean Engineering \u2013 Pedagogical University and its Chancellor, Professor Fevzi Yakubov, as well as the students and lecturers of the Pedagogical Department of V.I. Vernadsky Taurida National University, teachers and pupils of Simferopol secondary school, named after Eshref Shem\u2019i-Zade along with its Headmaster Nariman-odzha Akhmedov, and workers of Ismail Gasprinsky Republican Crimean Tatar Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea at the ceremony was represented by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of ARC Olga Udovina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The solemn ceremony started with the common prayer, made by Imam of Kebir-Jami, Niyazi Ramazanov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars, First Deputy Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, the Chancellor of the Crimean Engineering \u2013 Pedagogical University, Professor Fevzi Yakubov, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of ARC, Olga Udovina, the Head of the Republican Association of Crimean Tatar workers of education \u201cMaarifchi\u201d, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, member of the Verkhovna Rada of ARC, Safure Kadzhametova made their brief speeches at the ceremony of laying of flowers to Ismail Gasprinsky\u2019s monument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the laying of flowers to the monument of the great son of the Crimean Tatar people Ismail Gasprinsky many participants of the event visited Bakhchisaray to lay flowers and make prayer at Ismail Gasprinsky\u2019s grave and to take part at the scientific conference titled: \u201cIsmail Gasprinsky\u2019s World\u201d, held by I.Gasprinsky house-museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
