{"id":11410,"date":"2011-10-05T21:37:00","date_gmt":"2011-10-05T18:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/?p=11410"},"modified":"2021-12-30T21:37:37","modified_gmt":"2021-12-30T18:37:37","slug":"a-long-way-home-realias-of-present-day-and-prospects-for-the-future-of-the-crimean-tatar-people-in-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/en\/a-long-way-home-realias-of-present-day-and-prospects-for-the-future-of-the-crimean-tatar-people-in-ukraine\/","title":{"rendered":"A Long Way Home: Realias of Present Day and Prospects for the Future of the Crimean Tatar People in Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On October 5, 2011 the leaders of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people held a meeting with the heads of the diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Ukraine in Hotel \u201cHYATT\u201d in Kyiv<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe main goal of the meeting of the supreme representative \u2013 executive body of the Crimean Tatar people \u2013 Mejlis \u2013 with the diplomatic corps was the exchange of the practical experience in the issues, related to the return, resettlement and restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people on its historical homeland that were subjected to overall deportation of May 18, 1944 and was forcibly detained in the places of exile for the decades,\u201d \u2013 the leaders of Mejlis noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participants of the meeting were proposed to study the sensitive questions, related to the modern situation with the Crimean Tatar people in Ukraine. The special attention was also given to the discussion of the issue, related to the preparation to the International Forum on therestoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people to their homeland, its security and guarantees of development in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main reporters of the meeting were<a href=\"http:\/\/www.qtmm.org\/en\/news\/638-many-crimean-tatars-increase-awareness-of-the-fact-that-the-state-considers-them-as-people-of-the-second-class-jemilev-mustafa\">&nbsp;the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev&nbsp;<\/a>and the President of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars Refat Chubarov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting\u2019s agenda provided the discussion by the participants of the meeting in the format of \u201cQuestion &#8211; Answer\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The representatives of the Organization for the Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Administration of the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of Ukraine were also invited to take pat in the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The financial support for the meeting is provided by the Charity Organization \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdf.org.ua\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00abFoundation for development of Crimea\u00bb.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 5, 2011 the leaders of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people held a meeting with the heads of the diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Ukraine in Hotel \u201cHYATT\u201d in Kyiv \u201cThe main goal of the meeting of the supreme representative \u2013 executive body of the Crimean Tatar people \u2013 Mejlis \u2013 [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[11],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-11410","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.0 -
