The session of the Presidium of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people was held on May 13, 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The session was chaired by the Head of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The members of the Presidium discussed the draft Resolution of all-Crimean mourning meeting, dedicated to the memory of the victims of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people \u2013 deportation on May 18, 1944 and decades of enforced settlement in places of exile. The decision was adopted to refine in the nearest time the draft Resolution prepared by the Organizational committee and considered at its session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The session also examined the preliminary scenario of the all-Crimean mourning meeting of May 18, 2011. It was noted that the all-Crimean mourning meeting is planning to hear the speeches of the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the ARC Vasily Dzharty, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC Vladimir Konstantinov, the Permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the ACR Vladimir Yatsuba, as well as MP\u2019s of the Ukrainian Parliament, veterans of Crimean Tatar national movement, representatives of Crimean Tatar diaspora, members of the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, the participants of the session examined the degree of completeness of the Plan adopted on Mejlis\u2019 session of preparation and carrying out of the mourning events dedicated to the memory of the victims of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people and timed to the 67th anniversary of the deportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The leaders of Mejlis accentuated their attention on carrying out of an explanatory work on the eve of the all-Crimean mourning meeting among the population as for active participation in the memorial events and avoidance from provocative situations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
