{"id":11090,"date":"2011-05-02T12:34:00","date_gmt":"2011-05-02T09:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/?p=11090"},"modified":"2021-12-29T12:36:35","modified_gmt":"2021-12-29T09:36:35","slug":"international-conference-crimean-khanate-and-rumania-15-18-centuries-in-bakhchisaray","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/en\/international-conference-crimean-khanate-and-rumania-15-18-centuries-in-bakhchisaray\/","title":{"rendered":"International Conference \u201cCrimean Khanate and Rumania \u2013 15-18 Centuries\u201d in Bakhchisaray"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On May 1, 2011 the House Museum of Ismail Gasprinsky in Bakhchisaray housed the International scientific conference \u201cCrimean Khanate and Rumania \u2013 15-18 centuries\u201d, dedicated to the historic ties between Crimean Khanate and Rumanian principalities: Walachia, Moldavian principality and Transylvania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The President of the World Crimean Tatar Congress, first deputy Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov stated, opening the conference, that the main goal of the conference is \u201cdiscussion of the possibility to establish a firm scientific ground in the framework of which Ukrainian and Rumanian historians could interact both in studying of the historical relations between Crimea and Rumania and questions of modern development of Ukraine and Rumania\u201d. Refat Chubarov explained the necessity and importance of such constant interaction also by the fact that \u201cRumania has quite numerous Crimean Tatar diaspora that after return of Crimean Tatar people to its native land \u2013 Crimea and after Rumania became a member of the European Union received new impulses and possibilities for preservation of its distinctiveness and further development\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Director of the Institute of Turkish and Central-Asian Studies (ITCAS) Babe\u015f-Bolyai University, ex-ambassador of Rumania to the Republic of Azerbaijan and Republic of Turkmenistan, professor Tasin Jemil who spoke with greeting word on behalf of his colleagues expressed hope that the mutual co-operation between Crimean and Romanian scientists in studying if the historical relations between Crimea and Rumania will promote cooperation between historians of other countries, including Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, Turkey whose historical development was closely linked with the history of Crimea. \u201cI think it is important that we could meet our colleagues from these countries at symposiums, and exchange the results of our studies and make them public\u201d \u2013 concluded professor Tasin Jemil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"562\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_8522_1_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11095\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_8522_1_2.jpg 750w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_8522_1_2-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participants of the conference shown big interest in the following reports: \u201cStephan the Great and Bakhchisaray Khan Palace\u201d (prof., Dr. Tasin Jemil), \u201cBrief introduction into the historiography of relations between Crimea and Rumanian principalities\u201d (Dr. Serdzhan Osman), \u201cCrimean perception of the conflict in Chechnya, South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Role of Tatars\u201d (Dr. Marius-Gerald Epure), \u201cKafa in relations between Tatars and Genoeses in the 15 \u2013 16 centuries\u201d (prof. Virgil Chokyltan), \u201cCrimean Khanate and Silistra sanjak in Osman military campaigns in Rumanian territories\u201d (Dr. Anka Popesku), \u201cThe last Tatar military campaign to Transylvania. Modern evidences\u201d (prof. Kelyn Felezeu), \u201cThe moments from Rumanian \u2013 Tatar relationships in the 13th century\u201d (Veniamin Chobanu), Russian diplomatic sources about Crimean Khanate. 1703-1706\u201d (prof. Adrian Tertecheli), \u201cCreation of the negative image \u2013 image of Tatars in the works of Iyoan Nekulche, Moldavian \u2013 Rumanian chronicler of the 16-17 centuries\u201d (Dr. Adina Fodor), \u201cThe relations between Crimean Khanate and Transylvanian principality in Transylvanian chronicles in the 16-17 centuries\u201d (Dr. Margarita Rakita-Aslan), \u201cGreen Island\u201d: Crimea in Dobruja Tatar literature of the first half of the 20th century\u201d (MA Omer Metin), \u201cCirculation of Crimean coins in the Lower Danube region\u201d (prof. Evgen Nivolae), \u201cThe current geopolitical context\u201d (Visile Simileanu) and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A great interest of all present raised the report of the director of the Museum of history and culture of Crimean Tatars of Bakhchisaray State historical \u2013 cultural reserve Server Ebubekir \u201cToponymy as material on ethnic history of Crimea\u201d. Scientists of Crimean Industrial Pedagogical University \u2013 dean of psychological \u2013 pedagogical department, PhD Rustem Tokmegy, associate professor, lecturer of Crimean Tatar literature Nariman Abdulvaapov, PhD in History, dean of historical \u2013 philological department Eldar Seydametov, workers of CIPU Research Center of Crimean Tatar language and literature Enver Ozenbashly, Timur Kurshutov, Ediye Ametova, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences Enise Abibulaeva, historian Gulnara Abdullaeva also participated in the discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The delegation from Rumania was represented by the Director of Institute of Turkish and Central-Asian Studies (ITCAS) Babe\u015f-Bolyai University, ex-ambassador of Rumania to the Republic of Azerbaijan and Republic of Turkmenistan, professor Tasin Jemil.
